Sofia is the capital and the major administrative, political, cultural and economic centre of Bulgaria. The city population exceeds by far the 1.4 million citizens, that are dynamic and modern people with the highest incomes of the country.
Sofia is located at the strategic crossroad between Europe and Asia. The route from Western Europe to Istanbul passes through Sofia via Beograd and Skopje, then through Plovdiv to Turkey.
Sofia’s retail market has been highly developing in the past few years with major international and Bulgarian retailers already present within the existing shopping centers and in the high streets.
